Job summary

Hidden Roots Mental Health, LLC seeks a Clinician to support Ohio programs with assessments and supervision, in a flexible hybrid role. This 1099 contractor position focuses on ensuring service quality and compliance across our Ohio service region.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, an Ohio license, 1–2 years clinical experience, and at least 1 year of supervision experience; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or CACREP field.
• Current Ohio license (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, IMFT).
• 1–2 years direct clinical experience with mental health or substance use populations.
• Minimum 1 year supervising or training other professionals.
• CPR/First Aid certification and behavioral management training (or willingness).
• Valid driver's license and clean record for field work.
• Ability to pass FBI/BCI background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document SRA and CSRA assessments.
• Provide clinical supervision and monthly training to Case Managers (3–4 hours/mo).
• Review case documentation and offer timely feedback.
• Support team with clinical concerns and quality standards.
• Oversee quality assurance and program enhancements.

About the Role: Clinician (Contract-Based)

We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinician to support our Ohio programs. This contract-based role focuses on conducting clinical assessments (SRA, CSRA), supervising Case Managers, and overseeing service quality and compliance.

The position is hybrid, with flexibility to work remotely while providing oversight and support across our Ohio service region.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct and document SRA and CSRA assessments for individuals enrolled in services.
• Provide clinical supervision and monthly training to Case Managers (3-4 hours max per supervisee/month).
• Review case documentation and offer timely, constructive feedback.
• Support team members with clinical concerns and quality standards.
• Oversee quality assurance and assist in service or program enhancements.
• Act as Risk Manager, collecting data for quarterly reporting and compliance tracking.
• Coordinate services through internal systems and contribute to program documentation and policy development in alignment with OhioMHAS and Medicaid guidelines.
• Ensure all team members have necessary tools, resources, and clinical direction.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related CACREP-accredited field.
• Current Ohio license (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, IMFT) - residency in Ohio not required.
• 1-2 years of direct clinical experience with mental health and/or substance use populations.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supervising or training other professionals.
• Strong understanding of community-based mental health practices and service documentation.
• Certified in CPR/First Aid and behavioral management (or willing to obtain).
• Valid driver's license and clean record (for any field-based work if applicable).
• Ability to pass an FBI/BCI background check.

Position Overview

• This is a 1099 independent contractor position
• Hybrid set-up
• Assessments capped at 6 hours per client
• Supervision capped at 3-4 hours monthly per Case Manager
• Preference for full-time availability, Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
