Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services in Danvers, MA seeks an empathetic Clinician for its Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) to deliver evidence-based therapy for youth, families and adults. The clinician will engage in multidisciplinary care, perform evaluations, and guide treatment planning within a diverse client base.

The role supports a 9am-5pm schedule, with opportunities for office, virtual, and in-home sessions, and emphasizes client-centered, goal-directed care within a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
  • Independent Clinical Licensure in MA preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and crisis intervention ability.
  • Ability to establish rapport with a wide range of clinical presentations.
  • Knowledge of community resources and how to access them.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement to clients and families.
  • Offer therapy in the office, virtually, in the community, or at client residences based on client preferences and clinical direction.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, utilizing a team approach to treatment.
  • Conduct and complete evaluations and assessments of clients.
  • Ensure active client involvement in the treatment planning process, embracing their preferences.
  • Provide individual therapy to clients and families within the CBHC framework.
  • Establish effective working relationships with clients, ensuring client safety and fostering well-being.

Education

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field
Independent Clinical Licensure in Massachusetts (preferred)
Strong diagnostic skills

Eliot is seeking an empathetic Clinician dedicated to providing quality behavioral health treatment and support in our innovative Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) program. Eliot's CBHC serves as a single entry point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families and adults. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide evidence-based treatment to Adults utilizing sound judgment, excellent clinical skills with the ability to provide effective, solution focused therapy to a diverse client base with a wide array of presenting problems.

Qualifications:
  • Requires a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or other related area.
  • Independent Clinical Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, competence in crisis intervention, ability to develop short term interventions to support clients/families, and engagement strategies
  • Must be able to quickly establish rapport with a wide range of clinical presentations. Knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them.
Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Annual Salary

$65,000 - $70,000 USD
