Job summary

Greater Reach Community Services Board in Petersburg, VA seeks a Licensed Eligible or Licensed ACT Clinician to join our Assertive Community Treatment team. This full-time role requires a Master’s degree and Virginia licensure eligibility (LMHP).

You will work on a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated care to adults with severe mental illness. Responsibilities include group treatment using IDDT, harm reduction, motivational interviewing and CBT.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in behavioral health, Human Services, or related field.
• Board registered in the state of Virginia with license eligibility or current State of Virginia license as a LMHP (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSATP, or LCP).
• One (1) year experience working with dually diagnosed adult consumers in a mental health setting.
• Valid Drivers License with a point balance of -6 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide group treatment based on the Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment model.
• Assess and treat using harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and CBT.
• ACT is an essential program operating 365 days; may work evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on program needs.
• May be required to travel within the Greater Reach CSB catchment area.

We are offering a great opportunity for a full time Licensed Eligible or Licensed ACT Clinician for our Assertive Community Team (ACT).ACT is a highly coordinated set of services offered by a group of medical, behavioral health, peer recovery support providers and rehabilitation professionals in the community who work together as a team to meet the complex needs of individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness.

Responsibilities

Provide group treatment based on the Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment model, focusing on assessment and treatment, using principles of harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and CBT.

Requirements

• Masters degree in behavioral health, Human Services, or related field.
• Board registered in the state of Virginia with license eligibility or current State of Virginia license as a LMHP (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSATP, or LCP).

ACT is an essential program, operating 365 days of the year. Applicant must be able to work some evenings (until 6:00pm), weekends, and holidays, based on program needs, and work with a rotating on call schedule.

May be required to travel within the Greater Reach CSB catchment area.

Annual Salary Range

Grade C9 for Licensed Eligible.

$60,863.00 - $68,471.00.

Grade C11 for Licensed.

$69,356.00 - $80,916.00.
