Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Clinician to join the Lehigh Valley ACT Program. This community-based role provides clinical and substance-use treatment services as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering person-centered care to adults facing serious mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health, counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of related professional experience.
• Current CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) certification required.
• Experience providing substance use treatment and recovery support services.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment planning skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community-based work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and assessments utilizing validated tools for depression, suicidality, trauma, and substance use.
• Develop and direct individualized behavioral and therapeutic treatment plans in collaboration with participants and the treatment team.
• Provide direct clinical services through counseling sessions and community-based interventions.
• Lead multidisciplinary treatment planning, safety planning, goal development, and reviews.
• Complete assessments and documentation in compliance with agency standards.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers.
• Assist with crisis intervention using trauma-informed approaches.
• Participate in quality improvement, staff training, and program development.
