Job summary

Chroma Wellness Center in Colorado is seeking a Licensed Clinician to join a multidisciplinary treatment team providing therapeutic services to individuals with SUD and co-occurring disorders. You will maintain licensure, manage an individual caseload, and lead group therapy sessions.

The role requires active Colorado licensure or pursuit, experience in behavioral health, and strong documentation, communication, and crisis-intervention skills.

Qualifications

• Required PsyD, PhD, LPC, MFT, MSW, or other Counseling Degree.
• Preferred 2 years’ experience in the behavioral health field.
• Licensed therapy in the state of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies Division of Professional and Occupation.
• Clinical assessment (diagnostic, needs assessment, biopsychosocial).
• Therapy provision (individual, family, and group therapy).
• Clinical documentation (coherent, comprehensive, accurate, and justifies level of care).
• Crisis intervention in emergencies with safe, appropriate intervention.
• Client de-escalation using non-verbal cues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active licensure in the State of Colorado or actively pursue licensure.
• Maintain an individual client caseload and conduct individual therapy.
• Lead group therapy sessions.
• Engage in communication with outpatient providers and family members of clinician.
• Ensure all clinical documentation and case notes meet State and Joint Commission guidelines.
• Participate in weekly clinical treatment team meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and staff.
• Demonstrate strong intervention and de-escalation skills.
• Be helpful and adaptive within the clinical department.
• Provide conflict resolution, safety, and calm redirection in high-stress situations.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients and staff.

Summary: The Clinician (Licensed) cooperates as a member of the multidisciplinary clinical treatment team, in the provision of therapeutic services to persons with SUD and co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Crisis Intervention (Demonstrates ability to respond effectively in an emergency; Facilitates a safe, appropriate intervention in response to client crisis)
• Client De-escalation- (Effectively displays & utilizes non-verbal communication cues i.e. body language)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide conflict resolution, safety, and maintain calm redirection in high stress
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for both clients and staff
