Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited school or the equivalent.
• Experience in legal research and writing.
• Experience teaching, or related experience.
• At least three years of post-J.D. practice, clerking, or teaching experience.
• Successful completion of the bar exam in at least one U.S. state.
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to two sections each semester of the College's first-year legal writing course.
• Develop the course curriculum and major writing assignments in coordination with the legal writing faculty.
• Attend faculty meetings and serve on committees at the University and/or College level.
• Engage in outreach activities to support the program.
