Job summary

Kalogon is seeking a Research Lead in Melbourne, FL to architect and oversee our research ecosystem, ensuring methodological rigor across a range from quick usability tests to consumer surveys and clinical validation. You will conduct in-house studies and partner with outside groups to deepen insights, translating findings into actionable product and clinical progress.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with a wide variety of user research methodologies and quick-turn usability testing.
• Ability to write effective research plans, protocols, interview guides and the like.
• Experience coordinating studies with external collaborators and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of research modalities to answer seating questions from surveys to analyses.
• Balance long-horizon clinical validation with short-term product needs.
• Conduct user research, beta testing, and claims research.
• Socialize findings and enable team self-support with accessible tools.
• Write, field, and analyze consumer surveys on seating and related topics.
• Develop and execute IRB protocols and manage timelines within startup constraints.
• Translate technical findings into actionable insights for clinical and non-clinical audiences.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing for post-market surveillance.
