Job summary

Nebraska Hematology-Oncology, PC in Lincoln, NE seeks a Clinical Trial Technician to coordinate and perform patient-specific procedures across multiple studies, including phlebotomy, specimen processing, electrocardiograms, and vital signs, in strict accordance with SOPs and study protocols.

Requirements include at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; clinical research exposure with lab sample handling and EKGs is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Clinical research experience with sample collection/processing preferred.
• Experience with EKGs and vital signs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical trial procedures for studies led by principal investigators at Nebraska Hematology-Oncology, PC.
• Participate in study initiation visits, source document creation/review, and cross-department planning (lab and sample collection).
• Confirm study visit lab orders are accurate in preparation for visits.
• Ensure billing compliance for study-related lab testing.
• Perform lab collection including phlebotomy, processing, storage, packaging, and shipment across multiple studies.
• Collect vital signs and perform electrocardiograms in collaboration with clinical trials coordinators.
• Assess patient-reported outcomes/diary compliance with coordinators.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, FDA, and regulatory agencies; perform related duties.
• Perform phlebotomy as needed for routine patient care.
