CenExel Clinical Research is seeking a detail-oriented assistant to support CRCs at our Atlanta site. You will manage study-related patient charts, prepare visits, and handle data entry, paperwork, and coordination with participants and vendors.

Qualifications

• Interest in and knowledge of specific study indications.
• Excellent computer skills and advanced knowledge of electronic equipment (e.g., e-mail, computer, fax, copier).
• Skilled in organization and record maintenance.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience working with patients.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with supervisors and co-workers.
• Strong personal initiative and attention to detail.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to clearly communicate both orally and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain patient charts for all assigned studies.
• Prepare participant visits per CRCs schedule; manage source documents and lab results in patient charts.
• Maintain inventory of study supplies (lab kits, assessments, and participant materials).
• Complete data entry and resolve CRF queries per sponsor timelines.
• Assist Coordinators with assessments (e.g., blood pressure, urine collection).
• Communicate with study participants, caregivers, vendors, and laboratories as needed.
• Assist Coordinators with scheduling, copying, faxing, and clerical tasks.
• Aid Coordinators in monitoring visits for studies.
• Complete daily responsibilities delegated by CRCs for the study/participants.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
