Job summary

JCCT is seeking a Research Assistant in its Clinical Operations department to support trial activities, ensure GCP/SOP compliance, and assist study coordinators. The role includes document preparation, data entry, subject recruitment, and protocol-specific tasks under supervision of the Site Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), experience in clinical research, and familiarity with clinical trial systems.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED; experience in clinical research preferred.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and Medical Assistant certification.
• Experience in medical history, medication history, and vital signs preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical trial management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of volunteers and sponsor information.
• Provide administrative and operational support for clinical trials.
• Prepare and manage study documents; data entry and query resolution.
• Assist with screening, enrollment, and subject recruitment.
• Support protocol-specific activities including vital signs and sample collection.
• Track visits and communicate updates to study coordinators/PI.
