Job summary

Danaher Diagnostics is seeking a Principal Clinical Scientist to lead clinical trial designs and regulatory strategies across US and EU regions for diagnostics products. The role supports Beckman Coulter Diagnostics and Life Sciences, with remote flexibility or onsite in Chaska, MN.

You will design studies, liaise with regulators, align programs with product development, and author essential documents while mentoring junior scientists and staying current with evolving standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field with substantial clinical research experience.
• Master's or Doctoral degree with extensive US/EU trial experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical study design and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder collaboration.
• Certifications in Clinical Research (SoCRA/ACRP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design clinical studies and evidence plans supporting regulatory submissions (FDA/CE).
• Act as scientific liaison with regulatory bodies and external sites.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Quality, and Commercial teams.
• Author and review clinical/regulatory documents and study reports.
• Mentor junior scientists and maintain up-to-date regulatory knowledge.
