Job summary

Danaher Diagnostics is seeking a Principal Clinical Scientist to lead global trial strategies in the US and EU, supporting Beckman Coulter Diagnostics and Life Sciences within the Danaher umbrella. This role focuses on trial design, regulatory compliance, and evidence plans to drive product clearance across diagnostic platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field with 9+ years of clinical research experience or Master’s with 12+ years or Doctoral with 4+ years in US/EU trials.
• Deep understanding of clinical study design in diagnostics, medical devices, or pharma with US/EU market products.
• Ability to review complex clinical trial data and oversee protocols and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design clinical studies and evidence strategies for global regulatory submissions (FDA 510(k)/PMA, CE‑IVDR).
• Serve as scientific/regulatory liaison with bodies, KOLs, and external sites to develop protocols and evidence plans.
• Partner with R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Quality, and Commercial teams to align programs with product development and market access needs.
• Author and review clinical/regulatory docs including study reports, technical files, and publications.
• Mentor junior scientists and maintain expertise in evolving regulatory standards and diagnostic technologies.
