Job summary

Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA is seeking a Research Coordinator to support clinical trials in collaboration with the Principal Investigator and the Clinical Research Coordinator. You will ensure trials are conducted in accordance with protocol requirements and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining trial documentation, coordinating prescreening and enrollment, and supporting audits and safety reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field.
• 2 years clinical research experience preferred.
• IATA Special Cargo Certification within 1 year (required).
• CITI training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple clinical trials with PI and Clinical Research Coordinator.
• Ensure adherence to ICH/GCP guidelines and site SOPs.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and source documents for monitors.
• Oversee adverse event reporting and safety communications with IRB/sponsor.
• Assist in prescreening via electronic health records and consent processes.
• Provide staff education and inservice training related to trials.
