Job summary

Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking a qualified Research Assistant to support clinical trial management, data entry and regulatory compliance in a full-time role in Mesa, AZ.

The position requires an associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred) and training in IATA, GCP, or human subjects protection. Responsibilities include data quality, lab processing, and assisting nurses with study visits and regulatory documentation.

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• IATA, Human subjects protection training or GCP training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of regulatory files, data entry, drug receipt, storage and transport.
• Ensure quality of data and adherence to protocol standards.
• Help maintain compliance with GCP and federal/international guidelines.
• Participate in continuing education and professional growth.
• Assist with lab processing and shipping and regulatory documents.
• Support study initiation, monitoring, closeout, and audit visits.
• Assist orientation of new staff in the research department.
