Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepares, compounds, manufactures, and dispenses investigational drugs for ongoing research studies.
• Manages record-keeping, shipping, ordering, and inventory for trial materials.
• Ensures accuracy and integrity of products prior to delivery to trial subjects.
• Ensures compliance with Emory Healthcare, governmental, and sponsor regulations.
• Represents Emory on the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to assist protocol review/approval.
• Maintains sponsor/FDA compliance for pharmacy operations.
• Oversees work of pharmacy students and staff to maintain standards.
