Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to support the Clinical Trials Program. Under PI supervision, you will assess, plan, and deliver safe nursing care to participants from pre-screening through study exit.

You will coordinate with physicians, screen records for eligibility, assist in consent, and contribute to quality improvement and community outreach related to trials.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• BSN preferred.
• OCN certification preferred or achievable within one year.
• Current CPR certification.
• Continues education in clinical research and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with physician teams.
• Screen patients and assist in enrollment.
• Utilize nursing process to plan and deliver care.
• Educate patients on learning needs and support.
• Refer patients for social and financial resources.
• Support quality improvement activities in Clinical Trials.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical trials for patient management.
• Review records for eligibility and consent.
• Participate in community events related to Clinical Trials.
