Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in the U.S. and EU seeks a Principal Clinical Scientist to lead clinical trial strategies for neurodegenerative programs. You will drive study designs, ensure regulatory compliance, and hit milestone targets across diagnostic modalities.

You will collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Quality and Commercial teams, author critical regulatory docs, and mentor junior scientists while remaining current on evolving standards and tech in diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of clinical research experience in US/EU trials.
• Understanding of clinical study design for diagnostics or medical devices.
• Ability to review data and oversee study protocols and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design clinical studies and evidence strategies for regulatory submissions (FDA/CE).
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and key opinion leaders to develop protocols and evidence plans.
• Partner with R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Quality and Commercial teams.
• Author and review clinical/regulatory docs and study reports for clearance.
• Mentor junior scientists and stay current with standards in diagnostics.
