Job summary

American Heart Association is seeking a Program Implementation Manager, Clinical Studies, to oversee recruitment, site onboarding, and project management for cardiovascular trials. The role supports relationships with hospitals, health systems, and clinics to meet program goals and ensure high-quality study operations.

The position can be home-based but is a full-time, grant-funded role with current funding through July 30, 2031. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least 3 years of relevant experience in clinical studies or hospital settings.
• Experience collaborating with clinicians, C-suite, and site teams to advance clinical trials.
• Strong project management, data tracking, and communication skills within healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day recruitment, consultation, and project management for cardiovascular clinical studies.
• Onboard and train participating sites; manage protocol requirements, data collection, and regulatory obligations.
• Oversee site activation lifecycle including contracting, onboarding, and documentation; monitor compliance and reporting.
