Job summary

Georgetown University is seeking an on-campus Clinical Trials Coordinator to oversee the lifecycle of assigned trials. You will work with investigators and a study team to screen participants, document eligibility, and obtain informed consent per protocol and policy.

You will conduct study procedures, ensure protocol integrity and patient safety under GCP guidelines, and support data management and budget processes. This role collaborates with CRMO and external sponsors in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or health related field is required.
• Two years of related experience in clinical research preferred.
• Candidates should be able to work independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical trials throughout the trial lifecycle.
• Recruit and screen study participants and document eligibility.
• Obtain informed consent per protocol and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct study-related procedures while ensuring GCP compliance.
• Assist in care continuum coordination including triage and patient communication.
• Coordinate collection of research specimens per protocol.
• Provide patient education about participation, tests, and side effects.
• Schedule in-service staff training on trials.
• Update CTMS with patient data and timelines for budgeting.
• Collaborate with Data Managers to ensure complete trial documentation.
• Document and report serious adverse events per protocol.
• Liaise with hospital staff, IRB, and study monitors.
• Other duties as assigned.
