Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant to support the Clinical Operations Team. You will assist with data collection, documentation, and maintenance of clinical data, including phlebotomy, data entry, and administrative tasks.

The role requires high school level education with relevant life sciences exposure, basic lab skills, and the ability to follow protocols, work as part of a team, and communicate in English. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate and/or technical degree with minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in life sciences industry.
• Phlebotomy and IM dose administration certifications as applicable by state law.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to multi-task and follow written guidelines.
• Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conduct of clinical trials per protocol and GCP.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection per protocol and law.
• Collect data and perform assessments under supervision.
• Enter data into sponsor portals and resolve basic queries.
• Maintain inventory and ship laboratory specimens as required.
• Coordinate front-office duties and patient scheduling.
