Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a Clinical Trial Educator to support patient recruitment and education for a 2-year grant project with Fox Chase Cancer Center and Temple University Hospital. You will help educate patients about trials and coordinate activities to aid decision making.

Responsibilities include screening and consent, maintaining patient databases, and assessing educational needs with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Community Health, or related field required.
• Master's Degree in Public Health, Community Health, or related field preferred.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 1 year experience in a related role preferred.
• General experience with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screening, recruitment, and obtaining informed consent from patients for participation in a study assessing patient education and coordination to support clinical trial decision making
• Maintaining multiple detailed databases to track screened, consented, enrolled, and intervention patients.
• Identifying patient educational needs, barriers, and resource needs using strong interpersonal and communication skills.
