Job description

Due to an internal promotion, our small, growing medical device client is adding a Clinical Trial Coordinator to provide critical coordination and operational support across the Clinical Operations team.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that touches many aspects of clinical trial execution: from site documentation and clinical data to payments, device logistics, meetings, and training.

For someone looking to build a career in Clinical Operations, this is an opportunity to gain broad exposure within a smaller company, work closely with the clinical team, take ownership of meaningful responsibilities, and gain visibility across multiple aspects of clinical trial execution.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while ensuring clinical trial activities remain accurate, timely, and audit-ready. You'll need to be comfortable shifting priorities, taking ownership, solving problems, and stepping in to support the team when needed. In return, you'll gain broad clinical trial experience and exposure that can be difficult to get in a larger, more siloed organization.

Your role with the company:
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready clinical trial and site documentation, including regulatory approvals, informed consent forms, agreements, training records, and site personnel credentials.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clinical sites regarding documentation and study coordination needs.
  • Coordinate clinical image and data submissions from sites and core laboratories, identifying and resolving issues to support timely and complete data delivery.
  • Process and track site, core lab, and vendor invoices and payments while partnering with Finance to maintain accurate accruals.
  • Coordinate investigational device and clinical trial material shipments, returns, inventory, and associated documentation in partnership with Operations.
  • Support investigator meetings, study coordinator meetings, committee meetings, and training activities, including scheduling, travel logistics, materials, and other coordination needs.
  • Maintain study supplies, binders, equipment, and other clinical trial materials.
  • Provide cross-functional support and coverage across the Clinical Operations team as priorities and workloads shift.
  • Identify opportunities to improve clinical trial coordination processes, organization, and overall efficiency.
Desired Profile:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree; a degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in clinical research, clinical trials, or an FDA-regulated healthcare environment (med device preferred)
  • Experience working directly with clinical research sites, core laboratories, or clinical trial vendors.
  • Experience with EDC systems or clinical trial databases.
  • Experience coordinating or tracking clinical images or other clinical trial data.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial payments, contracts, invoices, or financial tracking.
  • Experience supporting investigator meetings, site training, or other clinical study meeting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience working within a small start-up or growing medical device company is ideal
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
