Job summary

Behavioral Innovations (BI) is seeking a Clinical Trainer / Lead RBT at our Lubbock Treatment Center. You will train clinical staff with oversight from BCBAs, ensuring milestones are met and progress aligns with BACB standards. The role ensures onboarding and ongoing training for BTs and RBTs to maintain program quality.

The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration with BCBAs, and adherence to our training program to support children with autism and related disorders.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of early intervention ABA experience.
• Previous leadership experience supervising employees.
• Current RBT certification; RBT IV or higher preferred.
• Strong time management, observation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Train clinical staff under supervision of BCBAs.
• Ensure training milestones and clinical expectations are met.
• Support Therapy Team to optimize child progress per BACB standards.
• Onboard and mentor new BTs and RBTs.

Your Work and How You’ll Make a Difference:

The center's Clinical Trainer will train clinical staff with direct coordination and oversight from BCBAs, ensuring that training milestones and clinical expectations are achieved. Additionally, this position will be responsible for collaborating clinically with BCBAs, making sure that each Therapy Team operates effectively and efficiently while guaranteeing that every child makes adequate progress according to BACB’s clinical requirements. This role is vital to the center's success. It ensures that all new Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) receive training according to BACB standards and comply with the company’s training program. All training milestones must be completed as specified.

Compensation: $45,000

What we are looking for:

• Must have at least one-year early intervention experience in the field of ABA (external)
• Previous experience in a leadership role that required supervision of employees
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
• Must be RBT IV or higher (internal)
• Time management skills, observation skills, and analytical skills
• Ability to receive detailed information through written and verbal communication
• Willingness to learn and implement new skills, as well as the ability to train others
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Friendly and engaging personality
• Reliable transportation is required
