A leading health organization is seeking a Clinical Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment to pediatric patients facing psychiatric challenges. This on-site role involves crisis intervention, program development, and engaging with families to ensure proper care management. You will contribute to the welfare of children aged 2-17, specializing in complex cases, within a supportive and collaborative environment focused on making a positive impact.

Location: Children's Medical Center Plano
Shift: Full Time; 32 hours per week Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ( four- 8 hour shifts with one week day off)
Job Type: On-Site
Additional Information:This role will handle pediatric psychiatric diagnoses between the age ranges of 2-17. Autism cases must have co-morbid mental health diagnosis.
Please Note:Only fully licensed Therapist to practice independently within the state of Texas will be considered: LCSW, LPC or LMFT. LPC-A or LCSW-A will not be considered.

Summary:
This position specializes in evaluating children and families in crisis and helping them adjust to acute and/or ongoing medical and/or psychiatric stressors. The position can provide support for inpatient and outpatient medical and psychiatric services or can provide psychiatric assessment to patients in the emergency room. These services may include any of the following: diagnostic evaluations; consultations on the behavioral management of medically and psychiatrically ill children; individual; play and family therapy; case management and disposition planning as appropriate. This position also provides education and practical coping strategies for patients and families.
