Job summary

Wyoming Behavioral Institute in Casper, WY seeks a Clinical Therapist (LPC, PPC, LCSW, PCSW, LMFT, PMFT) to join our on-site clinical team. This role emphasizes patient-centered therapy, coordination with psychiatrists and nursing, and active family engagement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and licensed in the State of Wyoming with LCSW, LPC, LMFT; provisional license eligible candidates encouraged to apply and supervision provided at no cost.
• Prefer two years of progressive experience in therapeutic or clinical treatment, psychiatric acute care, residential care, partial care or equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of developmental tasks of children, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and apply knowledge in assessment and planning of care.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic treatment as an active member of the clinical treatment team using your clinical expertise and modalities.
• Serve as the point person for patient families and engage with patients to ensure participation in treatment groups and activities.
• Work closely with psychiatrists, nursing, clinical and case management resources to coordinate and support patient treatment.
• Provide input to improve care coordination and discharge planning during inpatient hospitalization and aftercare.
• Document patient presentation, treatment, interactions and engagement regularly and utilize assessment and case management skills to optimize outcomes.
