The Clinical Therapist II treats patients using various modalities as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team. They provide psychological and social interventions that support patients and families concerning behavioral health, levels of care, hospitalization, disease management, wellness, and recovery.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  1. Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in the same field.
  3. Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
  4. Knowledge of crisis intervention theory and its application, disease management, differential diagnoses, and treatment techniques.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  6. Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to team members.

Licenses and Certifications Required:
  1. Professional Counselor License, NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist.
  2. Handle with Care certification or completion during new hire orientation.
