Job summary

I-Am-Able-Center-For-Family-Develop in Chicago seeks a licensed therapist to provide direct clinical services to individuals, couples, families and groups using a multi-systemic approach. The role includes conducting intakes, assessments, and ongoing treatment across supported programs in-office with potential home visits when clinically appropriate.

The therapist will maintain up to 20 active clients, document treatment plans and progress, and coordinate with DCFS, Medicaid, and other agencies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field.
• License: LSW/LPC preferred; LCSW for Supervisory position.
• Two year minimum experience in alcohol and drug counseling, children/adolescent counseling, marriage and family therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical treatment to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Maintain an active caseload of up to 20 clients across programs.
• Conduct intake appointments, client orientation, and mental health assessments for new clients.
• Prepare clinical documentation and reports for Clinical Director.
• Attend meetings and trainings for professional development.
