This clinical position involves providing counseling services to individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, maintaining a client caseload, and utilizing various treatment modalities tailored to client needs. The role reports to the Clinical Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical assessments, treatment planning, and referrals in accordance with Kentucky standards and scope of practice.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and documentation requirements.
- Perform psychosocial evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions, including crisis counseling.
- Maintain personal liability insurance.
- Participate in training sessions relevant to clinical services.
- Attend weekly team case conferences for coordinated care.
- Create safety plans and assess client risk levels.
- Engage in semiannual self-evaluations and community events.
- Perform other clinical duties as assigned.
- Stay informed about company policies and procedures.
- Apply knowledge of recovery, mental health, and co-occurring disorders, especially in addiction treatment settings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in mental health, counseling, psychology, behavioral science, or related field.
- Current valid license in Kentucky (LPCC, LCSW, LPCA, CADC, CSW, LCADC).
- Preferably one or more years of licensed experience.
- Knowledge of recovery and mental health disorders, with experience in addiction treatment preferred.
- Experience with funding streams and billing collaboration preferred.
- Skills in crisis intervention and conflict resolution preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Kentucky driver’s license.
- Experience with medication-assisted treatment is a plus.
