Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a Clinical Therapist in Chicago to work under supervision, develop and implement treatment plans, and deliver group therapy for youth. The role emphasizes crisis intervention, documentation, and collaboration with families and community services.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work or related field, current licensure, and at least two years of mental health experience with families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
• Current and valid professional licensure (LSW, LISW, LPCC, LPC and/or LCPCT).
• Two years’ experience working with families in the mental health field.
• Ability to remain objective and professional in all job functions.

Responsibilities

• Assess the immediate needs of youth upon arrival to the center.
• Complete diagnostic assessments as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support.
• Continue services until youth is stabilized and warm handoff occurs.
• Submit accurate paperwork, billing forms, time sheets and case notes.
• Attend NYAP training and agency events.
• Serve as a local community liaison to link clients with services.
• Maintain productivity standards.
• Participate in Quality Advancement activities.

Green Street Chicago IL 60642Salary: $60,000-65,000Position SummaryUnder the general supervision of the Regional Manager or designee, this position works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the youth served.
