Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in New Jersey seeks a senior field medical affairs lead with deep expertise in nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceuticals to drive education, strategy, and launch readiness across sites. You will build relationships with key opinion leaders, oversee site training, ensure GCP/HIPAA compliance, and translate complex data into actionable site execution plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; CNMT preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience in nuclear medicine/radiopharmaceutical clinical applications/oncology imaging or related field.
  • Experience leading complex site education and workflow implementation.
  • Advanced knowledge of radiopharmaceutical science, nuclear medicine operations, and diagnostic imaging trends.
  • Ability to translate complex data into site-level execution strategies.
  • Strong executive presence; excellent communication/presentation/organizational skills.
  • Cross-functional experience in matrixed biotech/pharma.
  • Oncology and radiopharmaceutical experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain strategic relationships with KOLs and institutional stakeholders (e.g., Nuclear Medicine Physicians, Radiologists, Radiation Oncologists, Technologists, Radiation Safety Officers, Health Physicists, Nursing, APPs).
  • Lead site readiness and workflow integration for approved agents and clinical trials (product handling/administration, radiation safety, licensing considerations).
  • Deliver clinical and technical education to support safe, effective, guideline-aligned product use.
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert in nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceutical applications (imaging techniques, oncology practice patterns, emerging therapies).
  • Support clinical trial execution via site training and protocol education.
  • Respond to scientific inquiries about approved/investigational products with accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide field insights on imaging/radiopharmaceutical trends and adoption barriers to inform launch strategy.
  • Support medical/scientific congress activities as requested.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and applicable frameworks (GCP, HIPAA, FDA regulations).
  • Apply AI to improve execution and decision-making.
