United Vein & Vascular Centers in Maplewood, NJ is expanding its vascular care team. The role starts with a 4–6 week training period conducted out of state, with travel paid by the company.

After training, the Clinical Technologist / Medical Assistant will independently perform clinical duties in a fast-paced clinic. This entry-level position is ideal for Medical Assistants and Patient Care Technicians seeking growth, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience as Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred)
• Preference for accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program
• Strong communication skills and EMR experience
• Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology

Responsabilités

• Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation; update patient status in EMR to maintain smooth flow
• Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile/non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, follow CDC/OSHA safety guidelines
• Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, keep exam rooms stocked
• Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold HIPAA standards and UVVC's Conduct Standards; maintain patient confidentiality
