Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a caregiver for the H71 Digestive Disease General Surgery Unit. You will assist with patient care under an RN, take vital signs, support routine monitoring, and help maintain clean, safe rooms in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS certification, and 1 year of patient care experience or nursing student clinical rotations. Weekend coverage is required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification through the AHA or Red Cross is required upon or within the new hire period.
• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience OR nursing student with at least one clinical rotation OR military medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs, personal care, and dressing changes.
• Report abnormal findings to an RN and assist with monitoring patient conditions.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly and support care processes.
