Job summary

Inova Health System in Northern Virginia is seeking a Clinical Technician Lead to deliver high-quality patient care under RN supervision and to mentor junior technicians. The role emphasizes efficient resource use, collaboration with nursing staff, and adherence to clinical standards.

You will support ADLs, monitor vitals, manage supplies, and participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care. A BLS certification and 3 years’ acute care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3 years as a clinical technician or similar in acute care.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care under RN supervision; assist with ADLs and monitor vital signs.
• Mentor and train new/junior CTs; conduct regular trainings on best practices and policies.
• Monitor inventory; promote sustainable use of supplies and coordinate with supply chain.
