Part-time | Nights | Shift: Days Vary, 6:00PM - 6:30AM

The Intermediate Care Unit at renowned Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician 2 to join the team in a part-time capacity.

Your shifts will be from 6:00PM - 6:30AM with rotating weekends or holidays.

Clinical Technician 2 Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under RN supervision, including ADLs, blood draws, IV insertions, and Foley catheter insertions.
• Communicates effectively with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity within the healthcare environment.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year in acute care as a clinical technician or completion of one acute care clinical rotation in an accredited RN program, or two years of nursing school completed.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Skills: Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
• Training: Six weeks of paid training, including virtual modules, classroom sessions (8AM–4:30PM), and on-unit training (times TBD).
