Clinical Technician 1 – Psych Observation with Inova Fairfax Medical Campus

Full-time | Nights | Shift: Days Vary, 6PM – 6:30AM

The Psych Observation team at renowned Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician 1 to join the team in a full-time capacity!

Your shifts will be from 6PM-6:30AM with rotating weekends & holidays.

Clinical Technician 1 Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse, including ADLs, blood draws, IV insertion, and catheter/Foley insertion.
• Communicates effectively with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity within the healthcare environment.
• Training: Available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, including virtual modules, classroom sessions, and shifts on the unit.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Special Skills: Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
