Clinical Technician 1 – 3W Observation Unit with Inova Fair Oaks Hospital

The 3W Observation Unit at renowned Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician to join the team in a full-time capacity!

Clinical Technician Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse, including:
• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Blood draws
• IV insertion
• Catheter/Foley insertion
• Communicates effectively with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout healthcare interactions.

Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Skills: Proficient in English communication, verbal and written.
• Physical: Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
• Training: Six weeks of paid training, including virtual modules, classroom sessions (8AM–4:30PM), and on-unit training (times TBD).
• Experience: Healthcare experience preferred.
