Job summary

Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, OH is seeking a Clinical Technical Assistant for the Medical Floor. This full-time, on-site role supports the patient care team by performing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse.

You will collect specimens per physician order, assist with designated procedures, and maintain patient comfort during care activities.

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.

Description

Supports the patient care team by performing direct patient care, under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse. According to established procedures, collects, and performs limited tests or specimens per physician order. Assists physician and nurse with designated procedures.

Requirements - One (1) of the following:

1. Certified Medical Assistant

2. STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant)

3. Current enrollment in RN program (BSN/ADN) and must have successfully completed first clinical rotation.

4. One (1) year of direct patient care or nurse aide experience that must include vital signs, bathing, and ambulating will be considered in lieu of certification/education.

Eligible for up to $2,000 Retention Bonus

Schedule:Full-time 36 hours per week, 7a-7p.

Rotation: Every Third Weekend; Rotating Holidays
