The Physician Practice Clinical Team Lead is responsible for assisting physicians, providers, and managers with organizing and implementing daily clinic activities. This role involves facilitating, coordinating, and evaluating clinic operations to ensure the delivery of quality patient care. The Team Lead will serve as a mentor to clinic staff and act as a role model by demonstrating adherence to clinical processes, quality/performance standards, and organizational goals. In the absence of the manager or supervisor, this position assumes operational responsibilities and may be assigned additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of physician office clinical experience or completion of a structured medical training program (e.g., MA, LPN, Paramedic).
• License/Certification: LPN, MA, or EMT preferred; BLS required.
• Knowledge of EKG, sphygmomanometer, audiometer, PFT machine, Holter Monitor, King of Hearts, wheel chair, thermometers (oral, rectal, tympanic).
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures.
• Ability to supervise and train staff, organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety, and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Foster a cooperative work environment.
• Effective communication with providers, managers, and patients.
