Job summary

Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES in Finger Lakes Tech and Career Center seeks a Clinical Teacher (Registered Nurse) to educate diverse learners in a health education setting. The role requires a NYS RN license, a bachelor’s degree, and several years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities include applying nursing practices to instructional contexts, maintaining patient-safety standards, and collaborating with colleagues to meet student learning needs.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold current NYS Registered Nurse License.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrate five (5) or more years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Hold or demonstrate ability to hold NYSED Adult Education Certification.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse population of students.
• Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and provide resources to meet student learning needs.
• Record and report student progress.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of professional nursing techniques and relation to medical surgical practices.
• Ability to supervise the administration of nursing measures prescribed.

Job Description

Position: Clinical Teacher

Location: FLTCC

Salary Range: $24.72 - $35.29 per hour based on experience and demonstrated abilities.

Start Date: September 01, 2026

Teachers Are Expected To
