Administrative

Provides feedback to faculty on students' performance during time in the clinical setting. Evaluates students' performance and sends recommendations on improvement.

Job Duties

• 15% - Collaboration:

  Utilizes nursing practice to assign care for patients and families. Reviews written requirements with students, providers, and patients' families.

• 15% - Administrative:

  Provides feedback to faculty on students' performance during time in the clinical setting. Evaluates students' performance and sends recommendations on improvement.

• 70% - Clinical Instruction:

  Delivers clinical care to patients while serving as a clinical preceptor to undergraduate students. Demonstrates and assist students with unit tasks in practice and demonstrate clinical skills. Provides leadership to enhance patient experience and patient safety.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's degree.
• Work Experience - Need at least 2 years' experience in the specified clinical setting specialty applying for e.g., Med/Surg, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Critical Care, Community, Obstetrics, Leadership and Management.
• Licenses & Certifications - Registered Nurse
