Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking an on-site Clinical Application Systems Analyst-Associate to support STRL processing labs and related clinical systems. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and about two years of systems analysis experience in a business environment.

The candidate will analyze and modify moderately complex information systems, provide end-user support, and work both independently and with teams under supervision.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in systems analysis/programming in a business environment.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle.
• Experience in a HIPAA/regulatory compliant environment is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares detailed specifications traceable to system requirements.
• Analyzes and revises existing system logic to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Researches and defines system scope and objectives for moderately complex information systems.
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting to end-users.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
