To be eligible for a sign-on bonus, the candidate must not have worked as a probationary, permanent, or time-limited employee in the last 12 months as an employee subject to the State Human Resources Act.
Position is a Licensed Practical Nurse (Clinical Support Specialist) located at the South-Central Regional Office in Raeford, NC. This position will report directly to the Regional Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and will assist the ADON with auditing and health care compliance through reports, data gathering and facility site visits.This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) withState Benefits.

As of January 1, 2025, the new salary range will be $39,864.00 - $59,797.00

TheDivision of Comprehensive Health Servicesis dedicated to providing evidence-based, compassionate, and constitutionally consistent medical care to all offenders in custody. Their goal is to ensure that all offenders receive full-spectrum medical care from the time of entry until their release. The team of physicians, nurses, behavioral health services, dental services, psychiatric services, pharmacy services, and licensed healthcare administration services work together to provide emergent, acute, routine, and chronic health care, as well as preventive medicine at all prison facilities. They also coordinate with specialists and other clinical consultants outside of prisons throughout the state to ensure comprehensive health and well-being towards a safe transition from prison, improving public health, and decreasing recidivism.
