Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a dedicated Clinical Support team member to assist in the delivery of high-quality behavioral health, mental health and substance use treatment services.

This role supports therapists and case managers by contributing to clinical assessments, group facilitation, treatment planning, documentation, and continuity of care in a structured, patient-centered treatment environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Services field that qualifies for clinical licensure eligibility.
• Licensure-eligible or pursuing licensure in a behavioral health discipline is strongly preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, mental health, and/or substance use disorder treatment settings preferred.
• Adherence to Healthcare Code of Ethics and professional standards of conduct.
• Knowledge of state and federal confidentiality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews.
• Complete baseline clinical assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations.
• Conduct therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.
• Assist therapists and case managers with patient care coordination and daily treatment support.
• Provide coverage for assigned patient caseloads in the absence of primary therapists.
• Assist patients in identifying external stressors impacting treatment engagement.
• Support family communication, coordination, and documentation related to patient care.
• Promote patient engagement, accountability, and continuity throughout the treatment process.
