Job Title: Clinical Support Representative-Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery

Job Summary: The Clinical Support Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. This position is responsible for scheduling patient appointments, following up on referrals, assisting with patient service questions, and providing general administrative support to healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Education & Experience Education and Experience Required: Degree (Associate or Bachelor) or High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years of clinical, customer service or administrative support experience

Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: N/A

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Schedule Patient Appointments: Coordinate and schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal use of provider time and resources.
  • Follow Up on Referrals: Manage and track patient referrals, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with patients and referring providers.
  • Assist with Patient Service Questions: Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and assistance.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to healthcare providers, including managing patient records, processing paperwork, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain Patient Records: Ensure patient records are up-to-date and accurately entered into the system.
  • Coordinate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with healthcare providers and other administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care and office operations.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all healthcare regulations and confidentiality requirements.
