Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Education from an approved medical assistant program or equivalent preferred.
• One to three years as a medical assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in delivering patient care.
• Room patients and prepare them for visits.
• Take and record vital signs accurately.
• Schedule patients’ appointments and tests.
• Obtain prior authorizations for insurance as needed.
