Our clinical division is hiring qualified per diem nurses in the following locations:

Seattle WA:LPN, LVN,or RN with wound care experience in the Seattle,Washington region to support customer needs in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities. This per-diem position requires availability 20 hours per month and is not a sales role.The clinical support nurse will collaborate with wound care providers, educate nursing staff, and ensure the proper use of advanced wound care products according to Medicare guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in wound care, product education, and clinical training to enhance patient outcomes and optimize facility resources. Previous wound care experience is required; WCC, CWCN or equivalent preferred. Candidates must be physically located in the Seattle Washington region, and travel is only required in the assigned territory, unless otherwise requested.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Rounding & Provider Support:

• Accompany wound care providers during monthly rounds at skilled nursing facilities to assess patient needs and recommend suitable wound care products.
• Educate providers on selecting and applying wound care products, and best practices for optimal healing outcomes.
• Assist providers in writing Durable Medical Equipment (DME) orders that comply with Medicare and reimbursement guidelines while maximizing available products.
• Identify potential wound care challenges and work with the Director of Nursing and facility staff to address concerns proactively.
• On-Site Staff Education & Training:
• Conduct monthly in-service training sessions for nursing staff on best practices for product usage, documentation, and wound care fundamentals.
• Organize and facilitate skills fairs as needed to reinforce wound care competencies and product application techniques.
• Perform wound competency assessments to ensure treatment nurses are equipped with the required knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

·Licensure/Certification: RN, LPN, LVN, or Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWCN, or equivalent preferred).

·Experience: Previous experience in wound care, DME services, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings is highly desirable.

·Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train and educate healthcare staff effectively.

·Travel: Must be able to travel to various skilled nursing facilities as required.

Training on all product lines and prior to deployment on an assignment.

Salary is dependant upon experience and based on regional rates. Per Diem nurses are compensated hourly for on site work and prep work, and for travel time. Expenses are reimbursed and per diem meal allowances are provided.
