About The Role

As a Clinical Support Coordinator, you are at the heart of the organ and tissue donation process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Obtaining informed telephone authorization and conducting comprehensive medical and social history risk assessments with families of patients who authorize donation.
  • Collaborating directly with clinicians to perform medical screenings on patients to determine donation eligibility.
  • Case management of all aspects of tissue cases and shared organ cases, ensuring seamless transitions and effective case completion.
  • Providing accurate, timely information to both internal and external stakeholders.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek individuals who are passionate about healthcare, teamwork, and making a difference. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Post-secondary training or education in a relevant field is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but other healthcare backgrounds will be considered (EMT, LPN, Medical Assistant, etc.).
  • Strong case management & communication skills with a commitment to providing compassionate support to donor families.
  • Excellent data entry & computer skills are required. Experience with one or more electronic medical record systems is preferred.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Schedule & Work Environment

This role follows a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (either 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM for day shift or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM for night shift), including weekends and holidays. Day and night shift positions are currently available, with alternating four-day / three-day workweeks.
