Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Support Coordinator to mentor new graduates and transitioning nurses, guiding skill development and clinical judgment to ensure safe patient care. You will participate in rounding on units, reinforce best practices, and support rapid response events with coaching and debriefing.
The role emphasizes collaboration with unit leaders, compliance with safety standards, and ongoing learning to strengthen nursing teams and patient outcomes.
As a Clinical Support Coordinator, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.
New nurses shape the future of patient care, and the support they receive directly impacts how well they deliver it. As a Clinical Support Coordinator, you will be a trusted clinical mentor who helps new graduate nurses and nurses moving into new specialties understand their roles, grow their clinical skills, and deliver safe, quality care. By rounding on units, guiding real-time learning, and coaching in critical moments, you will strengthen confidence, improve practice, and help care teams improve more lives in more ways.
