Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) seeks a licensed professional to supervise community service programs and trauma-focused teams. You will provide licensing supervision to master's level clinicians and deliver crisis assessments, brief treatments, and consultations within a trauma-informed, client-centered framework.

The role requires an RI license in Social Work, Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling, a master's degree in human services, and strong writing skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services required; independent licensure.
• Rhode Island license as Social Worker, Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor.
• Proficiency in professional writing; strong communication and multitasking.
• Spanish speaking preferred and compensated.
• Flexible schedule with some evenings.
• Bilingual/ASL skills compensated by 6%; multilingual by 8%.

Responsibilities

Job Description

FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community!
Position Summary: Participate as a leader and active team-member to support the behavioral health of clients accessing services at FSRI. Responsible for supervising community service programs such as DCYF contracted Trauma Systems Therapy teams and providing licensing supervision to masters level clinicians. Supports a trauma-informed, client and family-centered philosophy of care. Performs crisis assessments, brief treatment, and consultation where needed, and manages evidenced based models of treatment. Participates in on-call emergency services. Conducts clinical training as necessary.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required.
Independent license required.
Required to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor
Proficiency in professional writing
Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated
Flexible schedule with some evenings
Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
Ability to work independently and part of a team
Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
