Job summary

Samaritan Daytop Village is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical staff and interns and provide direct services to clients with substance use needs. The role entails supervising treatment records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting program evaluation to uphold quality and ethics.

Under the Program Director, you will manage day-to-day operations, contribute to staff development, and help maintain high productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or other Human Services field.
• At least two years' experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment with at least one year supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatments, managed care principles, and behavior practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical supervision to counselors and interns; develop and implement supervision plans and performance reviews.
• Ensures accurate, complete, timely client treatment records and billing paperwork.
• Provide direct clinical services to individuals, families, and/or groups with timely documentation meeting regulatory standards.
• Provides regular clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff.
• Identify training needs and plan/conduct trainings to maintain staff competency and policy compliance.
• Document supervisory sessions with staff.
• Meets monthly productivity expectations and helps establish performance standards with the Program Director.
• Collaborate with Program Director to review and improve clinical program design.
• Ensure adherence to Code of Conduct, HIPAA, and federal/state regulations.
